All twelve missions of the pack are basically finished, but the release has to wait a few more weeks. I still have to replace some of the He-111s in the missions with the Ju-52 that will become available in April. Moreover I need to create the necessary Bf-109 skins, but this shouldn't take too much time, thanks to the good template files.

The first skinning attempt:

Looking very good.

Not bad - don't forget the II./Gruppe red dot beneath the JG3 Geschwaderemblem. The markings are looking very fresh and clean compared to the rest of the bird.
Perhaps add a (smoothed) grey conture around your markings (mit Weichzeichner?) to simulate an overpainted standard scheme.
Note the hoizontal II./Gruppe bar was black for all three staffeln.

Thank you for the advice Armin. The skin is just an early test of the markings, so there is still a lot more work to do.

The red dot is there, but not very well visible on these screenshots.

The black bar for all Staffeln is a new information for me. Do you know any photo that shows white numbers and the black bar?

Here's another skin test. I have strongly reduced reflexions by editing the alpha channel, which is probably more realistic for winter camo. I think the games default winter skins are much too shiny.
I have also added two additonal weathering layers which give the skin a less bright white look. Some minor blur was applied around the edges of the markings to make them stand out less.

Sorry I missed this update... I don't know much about LW markings and paint schemes but for what it's worth I think it looks great and I agree that the less reflective distemper is an improvement.
